COCOPEAT O

FARM YARD MANURE (FYM)
Well de-composed FYM, got from the farm wastes is a very good source of Essential nutrients including micro-nutrients. Unlike inorganic fertilizers like Urea, the nutrients obtained from FYM upon decomposition are made available to the plants over a long period of time. It helps to make the soil coarse, thereby increase the micro & macro-pores resulting in more root respiration which is so very crucial to the plants. A part from this, it improves the soil structure, soil texture & water holdings capacity of the soil. Long term benefits of FYM have been proved beyond doubt. A basal doze of FYM is strongly recommended 15 days prior to planting of any crop.

VERMICOMPOST:
Earthworm is known as the Natural Plough from ages. They burrow into the soil during the course of their feeding, thereby pulverizing the soil making it optimum for proper root development. They feed on all kinds of organic wastes. The excreta known as Casts/castings is a very useful source of Fertilizer having almost al the Major nutrients like Nitrogen, Phosphorous Manganese, Calcium, Magnesium, Potassium etc. In addition to this, it is also a a source of the much needed micronutrients like Iron, Boron, Zinc, Molybdenum & so on which is unavailable to the plants in many soils. Vermicompost is also known to contain some hormones, which helps in fastening many of the reactions in the plants. More importantly, no residues are being left in the soil, thereby reducing the environmental hazards.

NEEM CAKE :
Neem Cake is got after the extraction of Neem oil. Basically it contains two main alkaloids, Azadirectin & Nimbicidin, each having insecticidal properties. As the common notion being Prevention is better than cure, Neem cake can be used as a controlled in the initial stages itself, thereby minimising the damage.

PONGAMIA CAKE :
Has an alkaloid known as pongamin mainly extracted from Derris sp. Upon its decomposition, it is a very important sources of micronutrients. It also improves the soil physical characteristics.
